Students who earn an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College may transfer credit hours toward Butler University’s 120-credit Bachelor of Science in Business Administration through the Lacy School of Business.

What This Agreement Covers

This pathway supports seamless transfer from Ivy Tech to Butler’s Business Administration major. Students may enter Butler as juniors and complete their degree in as little as two years of full-time study.

What’s Fulfilled

  • Most general education and core requirements, including First-Year Seminar and Analytic Reasoning
  • Lower-division business courses such as Principles of Accounting, Economics, and Business Law
  • Transfer credit for approved mathematics and communications courses

Remaining requirements generally include upper-division business courses in management, marketing, finance, operations, and leadership.
