Ivy Tech Community College Transfer Pathway – BSOL

Online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership

Students who complete an eligible associate degree at Ivy Tech Community College can transfer credit hours toward Butler University’s 120-credit Online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership. Some students may be able to transfer in additional credits, while the final 40 credit hours must be completed at Butler.

What This Agreement Covers

Through this transfer agreement, graduates from approved Associate of Science (AS) and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) programs at Ivy Tech may apply credit hours from their completed degree toward Butler’s Online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.

Indiana College Core coursework completed at Ivy Tech is recognized by Butler. AS graduates typically have the Indiana College Core fully met, while AAS graduates may partially fulfill it and can complete any remaining requirements at either Ivy Tech or Butler.

What’s Fulfilled

This agreement is designed to make your transfer path clear: your completed Ivy Tech coursework is evaluated and applied toward the BSOL degree, with a minimum of 60 credits transferring in and up to 80 credits transferring (depending on your completed coursework).

What Courses Will I Take?

Your remaining Butler coursework depends on how many credits you transfer (typically 40–60 credits remaining). You’ll complete BSOL coursework at Butler plus any remaining degree requirements identified during your transfer evaluation.
