Students who complete an Associate in Fine Arts – Music degree at the College of DuPage may transfer credit hours toward Butler’s Bachelor of Music in Music Performance or Music Education degree.

This pathway supports students continuing music study from the College of DuPage into the Jordan College of the Arts. Admission requires a successful audition for placement and scholarship consideration.

- Core music theory and aural skills sequences
- Foundational applied music study and ensemble credits
- General education and core requirements (e.g., FYS, Analytic Reasoning, Texts and Ideas)
- 60 transfer credits applied toward degree completion

- Advanced music theory and history
- Conducting and pedagogy
- Applied lessons on primary instrument or voice
