Harper College Transfer Pathway – Online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership
Graduates of Harper College who complete an A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degree may transfer credit hours toward Butler University’s online undergraduate completion programs, including the Online Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
What This Agreement Covers
The agreement is structured to make the transfer path clear and student-friendly, including:
- Block transfer acceptance (minimum 60 credits)
- A set of “met / not met” Butler requirements (so students can quickly see what still remains)
What’s Fulfilled
For Harper students with an A.A. or A.S. degree, the following Butler Core Curriculum areas are generally considered met through block transfer credit:
- First-Year Seminar (FYS)
- Areas of Inquiry: Analytic Reasoning (AR), The Natural World (NW), Perspectives in the Creative Arts (PCA), Well-Being (WB), The Social World (SW), Texts and Ideas (TI)
- Butler Cultural Requirement (BCR)
A.A.S. graduates typically receive a block transfer of 57–60 credits, and any missing Areas of Inquiry or English composition requirements are identified and completed as part of their Butler program.
What Courses Will I Take?
After transferring, you’ll complete the remaining Butler coursework needed to finish your degree. This includes your major/program coursework at Butler plus any remaining Butler requirements identified through transfer evaluation.
