Contract Review

To ensure the legal integrity and protection of the university, all Butler University employees (faculty and staff) are required to submit any agreement between Butler and an outside party to Legal for review. This policy applies to all documents, regardless of how they are titled. Examples of agreements include, but are not limited to, Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, consulting agreements, data-sharing agreements, and lease agreements. Please send all agreements to contracts@butler.edu for a thorough review. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and is vital in mitigating risk and ensuring legal compliance.
