Meet the Team
Faculty Director

Dr. Thomas A. Hanson (CFA, CIPM) is an associate professor of finance in the Lacy School of Business and the founding Faculty Director of Bulldog Reports. Previously, he has served as a faculty member at Kent State University, Cleveland State University, and Minnesota State University Moorhead. He is the advisor to the Butler chapter of the Financial Management Association (FMA) and faculty coordinator of the annual Wall Street Trek, which provides an opportunity for finance students to travel to New York City to meet with Butler alumni to learn more about careers in investment banking and other high finance roles. His teaching responsibilities include courses in equity valuation, algorithmic finance, international finance, and financial derivatives. His research interests include financial literacy, quantitative methodology, and the effects of translation and globalization on financial markets. He is a coauthor of Quantitative Research Methods in Translation and Interpreting Studies (Routledge).
Student Managing Directors
Bulldog Reports empowers student leaders to make connections with sponsors, target companies, and financial professionals in greater Indianapolis. These nine students play a vital leadership role in developing the inaugural investment conference.

Preston Asher is currently interning at Roche and is an incoming Summer IB Analyst at JP Morgan. In addition to leading the University Program Council he enjoys spending his time playing poker, pickleball, and reading. Fortune favors the bold.

Campbell Mason is originally from Crawfordsville, IN, and is currently a sophomore Finance major. He has interned at Hurlow Wealth Management and Stellata Partners. He enjoys spending time with his family, walking his dogs, and golfing.

Braden Myers is a sophomore from Fishers, Indiana, pursuing a double major in Finance and Accounting. He serves on the Lacy School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council and is actively involved as a member of the Men’s Club Basketball Team and the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.

Timothy Nelson is a Finance and Mathematics student at Butler University. On campus, he spends his time running Butler’s Collegiate DECA chapter and building community as a resident assistant. If you want to strike up a conversation with him, mention sushi, running, or the man trapped in the Chicago Bean.

Hannah Olson is a Finance and Marketing double major. In spring 2025, she represented Butler in the CFA Research Challenge. When she is not studying for classes or busy with one of the 4 clubs she’s involved in, she loves anything related to the arts. She sings in one of the Butler choirs and is excited about her first year as an RA.

Ethan Payne is a senior pursuing a double major in Finance and Statistics Originally from Fort Collins, CO, he has completed internships in Institutional Asset Management at the Indiana Public Retirement System and in Quantitative Finance at IMC Trading. Outside the classroom, he plays Club Tennis and continues his quest to break 100 in golf.

Will Rokosh is originally from Chicago, and he is currently a sophomore studying Finance and Economics. He has interned with Focal Point Capital, a boutique private equity firm, and in his free time enjoys traveling, watching Premier League soccer, and playing golf. .

Statler Schmidt is a double major in Finance and Business Technology Analytics with a minor in Economics. He has competed in the CFA Institute Research Challenge and participated in both the Wall Street Trek and FMA Chicago trip. Statler also serves as a Resident Assistant and is a student-athlete on the Butler Cheerleading Team.

Trevor Storm is currently a junior Finance major, having grown up in St. Charles, IL. When he isn’t outside running the Indianapolis trail system, he’s running the show over at MediaWolf Marketing as Owner/CFO. Never get ahead of yourself, you’ll leave a great future behind you. Progress is patient.

All of these experienced finance majors are involved with the operations of Bulldog Reports, including corporate outreach, sponsorship, and target company recruitment. These students are essential to the operation and success of Bulldog Reports, especially in building relationships with local employers, sponsors, and target companies.
