The Live Hardhat Tour of the Sciences Complex will be shown live at 3:00 PM EDT on Saturday at butler.edu/sciences-tour. 7:00 PM EDT – The Science of Beer
You’ve heard about grains and mash, hops and yeast, and fermentation – but how do they all work together to become beer? Join Butler Chemistry Professors Dr. Mike Samide and Dr. Anne Wilson for a short presentation about the science behind at-home brewing, followed by an interactive at-home beer tasting experience. Space is limited.

5:30 PM EDT - College of Education Expert Hour
Join the College of Education for the first in a series of faculty dialogues focusing on critical issues in the field of education. This session, Educator Self-Care, will feature Dr. Lori Desautels and her strategies for educators and families navigating the challenges of the pandemic. Space is limited.

3:30 PM EDT – Inside Butler: An On-Campus Update
From the Carter House living room, President Danko will share the latest University updates. Special guests will provide an intimate view of campus and show how our students, faculty, and staff are living out The Butler Way during a year like no other. 4:30 PM EDT – A Conversation with LSB Graduate Michael Bennett ‘09
Alumni, students, and friends are invited to a conversation with 2020 Joseph Irwin Sweeney Alumni Achievement Award honoree, Michael Bennett ‘09. Hear about Michael’s path from Butler to Wall Street and his role in the development of the annual Wall Street Trek program, which allows current students to explore opportunities in New York City. Learn about the importance of diversity on Wall Street and plans to expand access to the Wall Street Trek program to additional Butler students.

11:00 AM EDT – Bring Your Own Coffee with the JCA Dean
Learn what’s new for the fall in the Jordan College of the Arts with this interactive session with Dean Lisa Brooks. Space is limited.
12:00 PM EDT – Connect with the College of Communication
Join the College of Communication for a unique, interactive session with fellow graduates. The session will start with conversations highlighting the College’s 2020 Butler Alumni Association Award honorees; hear from Teresa Mask ‘93 and Wendi C. Thomas ‘93 (Robert Todd Duncan Alumni Achievement Award recipient) at noon followed by Rhyan Henson ‘14 with Brandon Gaudin ‘06 (Hilton Ultimus Brown Alumni Achievement Award recipient) at 12:20 PM EDT. Then, connect with fellow attendees in breakouts for CCOM affinity groups and clubs.
3:00 PM EDT – Live Hardhat Tour of the New Sciences Complex
Step inside and see the progress on Butler’s $100 million investment to expand and renovate our science facilities. This transformative project will add 55,000 square feet of additional academic space, high-tech classrooms, state-of-the-art lab space, and collaborative work spaces for students across multiple disciplines. Join us for a live, interactive tour of the new building and renovated space and learn more about the project from Dean Jay Howard and various LAS faculty.
AT HOMEcoming Game
4:00 PM EDT – Butler vs. Butler Virtual Trivia, sponsored by Elements Financial
For the first time, our alumni and fans have the opportunity to be the Homecoming game winners! Participants will be randomly matched with fellow Bulldogs on trivia teams for this interactive contest. Questions will include both general knowledge and Butler trivia. Test your skills against fellow Bulldogs, as only one team will be crowned the AT HOMEcoming victor and win Butler swag!
