Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Butler
Butler University strives to create a diverse, equitable, and intentionally inclusive community. To ensure a welcoming and supportive learning and working environment, we must seek and create opportunities for each of us to better understand our own beliefs, values, and cultures so that we can fully experience new ideas, perspectives, and traditions.
In order to fulfill our mission to “provide the highest quality of liberal and professional education and to integrate the liberal arts with professional education, by creating and fostering a stimulating intellectual community built upon interactive dialogue and inquiry among students, faculty, and staff” we must work together to make Butler a place where people from all identities, backgrounds, viewpoints, and experiences are welcomed, validated and supported.
