CAT's Academic Technology Innovation Grant (ATIG)
In the inaugural year of the ATIG program, six Butler faculty completed the Lightboard ATIG track, producing both classroom and marketing/recruiting videos. This year CAT is adding a second track to the ATIG program; faculty will choose to participate in either a Lightboard track or Active Learning track. Visit the ATIG page to learn more.
Moodle 3.5 Update
Over break, Moodle was updated to the latest secure version which includes some functionality enhancements. For more information about what's new in the update, view our Moodle Updates infographic or the update summary grid.
New Analytics and Navigation in Panopto
Panopto's new 6.0 update contains some exciting new features to assess student engagement. Click the "Stats" button for your Panopto videos to see detailed viewer information in a readable format.
Instructors will also notice Panopto navigation was updated. Instead of a list of folders on the left-hand navigation bar, instructors can no click the "Browse" button to see a fly-out menu of all courses. If you have questions about how to find your course folders, contact CAT at firstname.lastname@example.org.

ATIG Grant Proposal Deadline
The proposal deadline for the Academic Technology and Innovation Grant (ATIG) program is January 22, 2019 at 5pm. Faculty can apply to one of the following ATIG tracks:
- Instructional Innovation with the Marjorie C. Rork Lightboard (access Lightboard request for proposals);
- Instructional Innovation with Sound Booth technology (access Sound Booth request for proposals);
- Classroom Technology in Support of Active Learning (access Classroom Technology request for proposals).
