Admitted Student Visits & Events
We know making a college decision is tough, and we’ve heard that it usually takes another campus visit (or two) to help you make up your mind. Butler University offers a number of exclusive events and visit options designed specifically for our #ButlerBound students and their families. Students can register for all listed visits on their student status page.
Admitted Student Visits
November 2019–April 2020
Mondays, Fridays at 9:00 AM (fall)
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays at 9:00 AM | Tuesdays, Thursdays at 1:00 PM (spring)
We include a little bit of everything in this visit option—a “what’s next?” admission and financial aid presentation, a current student panel, a campus tour specifically designed for admitted seniors, and lunch on us for you and your family in our main campus dining hall. Please plan for your visit to last approximately three hours.
Note: This visit does not include a class observation. If you would like to observe a class, please see our True Blue visits.
Experience life at Butler firsthand! This is our most popular admitted student visit—and for good reason. You’ll be matched with a Butler student host for the day to shadow classes, eat lunch in the dining hall, and get a glimpse of what next year could be like for you. Your student host will be enrolled in the same college or program you’ve been admitted to, so you’ll get a true taste of what your future life as a Bulldog could look like.
True Blue is an all-day visit. Student hosts will coordinate start times after registration. We encourage parents to explore Indianapolis while you’re on your visit.
