Group Visits

Butler University’s Office of Admission is pleased to host group visits for students in grades 8-12. These visits take place most Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout the school year, starting at 11:15 AM. These visits can include an info session presentation by an admission counselor plus a campus tour led by current students, or just the campus tour. Attendees should expect this visit to last approximately 75 minutes.

 

 

 

FAQs about Group Visits

Group visits at Butler are available for school groups and educational organizations only. Students must be in grades 8-12 to participate in a group visit. We do have self serve options available for student groups ranging from Kindergarten to 7th grade.

We welcome up to 40 students (not including chaperones) for any group visit.

There should be one adult present for every 10 students. We do enforce this requirement and ask that you plan accordingly when scheduling your visit.

Completing the registration form is a request to visit, not a confirmation. We will reach out to you to confirm your visit details.

We recommend you submit the request as soon as possible, but at least two weeks prior to your desired visit date. We do our best to accommodate date requests, but due to other campus events and staffing limitations, other dates may need to be considered. The sooner we know you want to come, the better!

Lunch is not provided; however, you are welcome to reach out to Butler Dining for available dining options.
