Anthropology: Recommended Three-Year Path

Notes:

• AN 101 and SW 215 should be completed in the first year
• The two courses comprising the theory and methods sequence—AN 352 and AN 390— are only offered every other year in the fall semester. One must be taken in the fall of Year Two and the other in the fall of Year Three.
• All Liberal Arts and Sciences students are required to take two semesters of language at the 200-level or above. Language placement tests will be given prior to enrollment to determine the level of language enrollment. Depending on language experience and education, students may be required to take fewer language courses.
• Despite the shorter schedule, students would still be able to add a minor, study abroad for a full semester, pursue a combined major, or maybe even add a second major.
