Faculty Activity Report

Faculty activity reporting is entered and submitted in the Faculty180 platform. Full-time faculty can log in to Faculty180 from any computer connected to the internet by going to faculty180.butler.edu and using your Butler credentials.

You have the option to input activity data throughout the entire year and in May/June of every year, the Faculty180 team will push out two action items to your home screen:

Step 1 – Activity Input and Verification – This step allows you to verify the teaching data that has been uploaded from PeopleSoft, add all other activity entries, and submit your activity data to your reviewer. Please do not enter Class Climate survey data manually.
(Class Climate data for Summer/Fall 2025 will be uploaded to Faculty180 by May 15. Spring 2026 Class Climate data will be uploaded by mid-June.)
Step 2 – Complete Evaluation: Goals and Reflections – This is where you will reflect on your activities, report your 2026-2027 goals, and submit your goals and reflections to your reviewer.

To help answer the most common questions, a Google Slides presentation, a training video, and a reference guide are available. This same information is also available in a self-paced Canvas course.

2025-2026 FAR/Evaluation Deadlines

  1. 2025-2026 FAR submissions due (faculty)—Monday, August 31 by 11:59 PM
  2. Evaluation submission (chair/evaluator)—Wednesday, October 21 by 11:59 PM
  3. Faculty acknowledgment (faculty)—Tuesday, October 27 by 11:59 PM
  4. Dean acknowledgment (dean)—Friday, October 30 by 11:59 PM
