Volunteer Center
A great place to start your service activities at Butler University is to check in with the Volunteer Center!
The Volunteer Center Office is closed for the summer, but please still submit your pictures!
This student-staffed office is dedicated to helping you find volunteer opportunities on and off campus. Volunteer center representatives are here to serve you in your search for a service match. They are trained to not only locate specific service sites, but to help you explore what your interest may be and how to best suit them. Our staff is very involved with service themselves and can serve as wonderful resources for both individual student groups and organization. Whether you are looking for a one time opportunity or a continue service experience, please stop by!
Some of the services we provide are:
- A weekly listserv of upcoming and ongoing service opportunities.
- Monthly service projects throughout Indianapolis.
- Individual service consultations.
- Support for planning group service projects.
- The Service Opportunities Listserv (SOL) serving student organizations.
- Contacts and resources to over 400 Indianapolis based community agencies.
- An interactive and informative website.
- A monthly newsletter to let you know what’s going on and who’s been involved.
