Internal Grants Overview

Internal grant opportunities exist for faculty in the sciences and the non-sciences. Grant applications are reviewed by peer committees. Specifically, the Holcomb Awards Committee (HAC) reviews proposals in the natural, social, behavioral and mathematical sciences. The Butler Awards Committee (BAC) considers all non-science proposals. In some instances, faculty may question which committee is most appropriate for their proposals. Faculty are encouraged to discuss this issue with Robert Holm or with the chair or members of either committee. Faculty may also wish to consider the evaluation rubrics and view a list of currently funded projects by each committee.
