Undergraduate Research

BIRS promotes and supports undergraduate research in many ways, including: the Butler Summer Institute and the Undergraduate Student Research Program, undergraduate thesis grants, and financial support for travel to present at conferences. We also guide students through the University’s compliance programs to ensure student research is conducted in an ethical and conscientious manner.
