Award honorees will be recognized at a special, private event, the Alumni Recognition Ceremony, on September 18, 2026, during Butler’s annual Homecoming festivities.

Blue’s Closet Clothing Donation Drive
Declutter your closet while helping support this campus initiative!

Donation bins are open Thursday–Sunday during Homecoming weekend.

Blue’s Closet—a Butler-based thrift store—allows our community to minimize our environmental impact by reducing clothing waste and new clothing demand. Throughout Homecoming weekend, there will be donation bins in the lobby of the HRC and in Gallahue 118. Bring your clean, gently used clothing and apparel to donate. Blue’s Closet cannot accept non-apparel items such as kitchenware or furniture, and will not accept undergarments, socks, swimsuits, or intimates.

Butler Golf Classic

The Butler Golf Classic presented by NFP is a University-wide effort with all proceeds benefiting Butler Athletics. Registration will begin at 9:00 AM. The shotgun start is scheduled for 11:00 AM. Single golfer entry fee is $300 per person, and foursome entry fee is $1,200 per foursome. All entry fees include greens fees, cart, lunch, drinks on the course, contests, and participant gifts. Tournament format is Bulldog Scramble.

Tailgate Packages are SOLD OUT!
Only 1 vehicle per tailgate pass is allowed. Parking passes and the 4 general admission tickets will be loaded to your Butler Sports App. The tailgate lot will open at 8:00 AM. Upon arrival, tailgaters will be placed in either the West or East Hinkle lot. Please review the Gameday Parking and Tailgate Policy.

Still Available – Sellick Bowl Cabanas
Watch the game from your own 9×10 covered cabana inside the Sellick Bowl. Your cabana will include 12 General Admission game tickets, 2 parking passes, a 9×10 covered cabana with a three-sided enclosure, 5 chairs (guests can bring additional lawn chairs), a patio/classroom table, and access to a cabana-only cash bar. Packages are $395. Reserve your cabana today.

Fraternity Chariot Races

Hosted by Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Chi, join our fraternity and sorority community as we cheer on Chariot Races! Spectators can watch teams representing Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Chi, Delta Tau Delta, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Psi, and Sigma Nu. Line the streets of W. Hampton, the start line will take place outside of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and the finish line will be at the intersection between Sigma Chi and Phi Delta Theta.

Join the fun at Butler’s Biggest Tailgate! All tailgates are open to the Butler community to join and mingle. Bring food, drinks, chairs, friends, and come and go as you please to this exciting atmosphere. The area also includes easy access to the Food Truck Festival and Family Fun Fest.

Individual Tailgate parking packages will be available in the Hinkle Lot via TicketMaster. The East Lot opens at 8:00 AM. Please see Athletics’ complete tailgating policy.

Tours of The Jay and Christie Kile Love University House

Be among the first to experience Butler University’s newest campus resource, The Jay and Christie Kile Love University House. 
Created for gathering, connecting, and celebrating the Butler community, sign up for a casual guided tour of The University House.
Guided tours are offered between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Tours are approximately 15 minutes long and are limited to 25 guests per tour. Advanced registration is required.
Please complete one registration per person and select your preferred tour time. Tour times will no longer appear once they have reached capacity.
