Immersive Experiences

Cultural immersion isn’t limited to the food you eat and the neighborhood you live in—it’s also the people you meet and the memories you make. In the same way, your college experience shouldn’t be limited to academics and professional development—it’s also about growing as a person and having fun while you do it.

Butler Overseas offers two types of immersive experiences in each location: activities and excursions. Activities are typically outings or day trips, such as nearby hikes and afternoon tours, while excursions are multi-day experiences with a detailed itinerary and syllabi to maximize your time beyond mere tourism. From UNESCO World Heritage sites to natural wonders, you’re sure to try something that aligns with your interests.

Below are sample activities and excursions for each location, with options varying based on seasonal factors and availability. While all of them are entirely optional, Butler Overseas students are highly encouraged to take these unique opportunities to bond with classmates and learn more about their host country. Costs are included in Butler Overseas tuition.
