They are trained to serve as a well-being resource and help connect their peers to support available on- and off-campus. These are paid positions through the Office of Health Promotion.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-container wp-block-butler-accordion-container\" data-allow-multiple=\"false\" style=\"--butler-accordion-title-bg-hover: ;\">\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"butler-accordion-title wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tWhat topics do they cover?\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Open<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A variety! Decisions are informed by campus data, monthly themes, and students&#8217; passion areas. Previous events, campaigns, and programs have covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>nutrition at college<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>mental health, stress reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>sexual health (using condoms, promoting healthy relationships, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>alcohol safety<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promoting the various well-being resources around campus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"butler-accordion-title wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tHow can I get involved?\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Open<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Campus and community partners<\/strong> <strong>looking to collaborate<\/strong> on an event or program can reach out to any member of PAWS, or email the PAWS supervisor, Katie Wood (kewood1@butler.edu) to discuss opportunities. <br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For students looking to join PAWS<\/strong>, we typically hire in late Fall for the Spring semester.
