Please, no dogs in the 10k through Newfields (thanks for understanding). No rollerblades or bicycles in either race. You may use a jog stroller with kids in the 5k, but not the 10k, as space is tight on the towpath (thanks for understanding).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All dog&nbsp;participants must be kept on a leash during the walk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dogs are not allowed on the football field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It&#8217;s your responsibility to clean up after your dog\u2014please do so!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\" id=\"accordion-item-4\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h3 class=\"butler-accordion-title\">\n\t\t\t<button id=\"accordion-item-4-trigger\" class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-controls=\"accordion-item-4-panel\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tParking\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div id=\"accordion-item-4-panel\" class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-item-4-trigger\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Free parking is available in the Hinkle Fieldhouse lot and parking garage off Sunset Boulevard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volunteer parking will be reserved in the Hinkle lot closest to Gate 1 and the HRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We encourage those who need to leave a bit earlier after the race to use the Hinkle lot, and those who plan to stay a bit for our post-race fun to park in the garage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The&nbsp;Butler University <a href=\"http:\/\/map.butler.edu\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Butler Campus Map\">campus map<\/a>&nbsp;can serve as an additional resource as well.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\" id=\"accordion-item-5\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h3 class=\"butler-accordion-title\">\n\t\t\t<button id=\"accordion-item-5-trigger\" class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-controls=\"accordion-item-5-panel\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tCourses\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div id=\"accordion-item-5-panel\" class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-item-5-trigger\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/indyrunners.org\/bulldog-jog\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Course Maps<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-10k-course-8-00-am-start\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">10k Course (8:00 AM Start)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our 10k course is a beautiful route that starts outbound with the 5k, then splits to head through the Newfields grounds during their Spring Blooms, traverses down through 100 Acres Park, back along the Canal Towpath, through Rocky Ripple, then home through Holcomb Gardens to the&nbsp;Finish on Lake Street near the fountain\/bell tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-5k-course-8-00-am-start\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">5k Course (8:00 AM Start)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our new 5k course showcases Butler\u2019s new South Campus with a turn-around through the driveway of the Counseling Center and returning through campus with a strong finish back on Lake Street near the fountain\/bell tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"h-dawg-walk-nbsp-8-05-nbsp-am-start\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dawg Walk&nbsp;(8:05&nbsp;AM Start)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dawg Walk will provide a nice tour of campus for participants and their four-legged companions.&nbsp;We are pleased to donate a portion of the proceeds to our partners at the Humane Society of Indianapolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a family event. Non-motorized strollers, wagons, carts, and carriers are permitted, but participants are asked to be mindful of other two-legged and four-legged walkers. If your dog needs to take a&nbsp;pit stop, please clean up after them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 5k and 10k courses start together through Campus to the Counseling Center on South Campus.&nbsp;The 10k then continues on through Newfields grounds, to 100-Acres\/Fairbanks Nature Park, the Canal Towpath, Butler Athletic Fields, Holcomb Gardens and back to the common finish.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\" id=\"accordion-item-6\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h3 class=\"butler-accordion-title\">\n\t\t\t<button id=\"accordion-item-6-trigger\" class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-controls=\"accordion-item-6-panel\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tRoad closures\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div id=\"accordion-item-6-panel\" class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-item-6-trigger\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to accommodate the run\/walk, campus traffic patterns and parking will be affected race morning. There will be no parking allowed at the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sunset from 49th to 46th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunset and Lake Road<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clarendon west and 46th<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clarendon and Hampton<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>44th and Haughey<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Haughey and 42nd<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>42nd and Michigan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any vehicle parked in violation of the no parking restriction will be towed at the owner&#8217;s expense. Vehicles will be towed starting at 4:00 AM on the date of the event.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\" id=\"accordion-item-7\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h3 class=\"butler-accordion-title\">\n\t\t\t<button id=\"accordion-item-7-trigger\" class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-controls=\"accordion-item-7-panel\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tWeather\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h3>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div id=\"accordion-item-7-panel\" class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-labelledby=\"accordion-item-7-trigger\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In case of inclement weather, such as ice or severe storms, the race will be canceled. In such an instance, race officials will make the determination to cancel the race at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the
