The Office of the Dean of Students will no longer be providing faculty absence notifications for COVID-19 as COVID-19 will now be treated the same as other respiratory illnesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following FAQs are intended for all students who are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 or have recently tested positive:<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"content-block wp-block-butler-content-block\">\n\t<div class=\"content-block-container\">\n\t\t<div class=\"content-block-layout content-block-layout-menu-less\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content-block-menu-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<div class=\"content-block-content-container is-layout-constrained\">\n\t\t\t\t\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-container wp-block-butler-accordion-container\" data-allow-multiple=\"false\" style=\"--butler-accordion-title-bg-hover: ;\">\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"butler-accordion-title wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tWhat should I do if I am having symptoms?\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Open<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Get tested!\u00a0If you would like to be seen at Health Services, please call 317-940-9385 to schedule an appointment with a provider (not just a nurse).<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"butler-accordion-title wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tWhen should I mask?\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Open<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Butler University no longer has a campus-wide mask requirement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students with a positive diagnosis are encouraged to wear a high-quality mask for five days if they must be around others at home and in public.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Some students, faculty, and staff may opt to wear masks both in and out of the classroom.\u00a0Masks may still be required by faculty and staff in classrooms, labs, or when meeting in private spaces. Individuals will be expected to comply with the requests of faculty or staff in these circumstances. The University will not tolerate disrespectful behavior toward any individual on campus regarding vaccination status, face masks, or any other
