  • Learning Beyond the Classroom
Are you constantly pushing yourself outside of the classroom? You’re in good company here. This session will highlight academic opportunities that many Bulldogs take advantage of like the Honors Program, prestigious scholarships, undergraduate research opportunities, our New York City and Washington, DC Learning Semesters, and more.
  • Pre-Health Advising
Pre-health advising at Butler University is geared toward undergraduate students who intend to apply to a graduate-level health professional school. This session will review the experience and support available for students interested in Butler’s many pre-health programs, including dentistry, medicine, optometry, physician assistant, physical therapy, and veterinary medicine.

Learn more about what we call the “BUBeWell framework”, our foundation for providing a transformative and holistic student experience. Explore our Health and Recreation Complex—workout, anyone?—and learn more about all the ways to stay active as a student at Butler.

Meet our Admission Counselors

Join our counseling team for an informal conversation about Butler’s admission process. We’ll share our advice for applicants, discuss what Butler “looks for” in future Bulldogs, and cover topics like test-optional admission and scholarships. If you have questions about your own application journey, this is a good opportunity to ask!

To learn who your assigned admission counselor is, use our Find Your Counselor tool.

Open House is designed to provide a deep dive into our six academic colleges, the academic experiences available outside of the classroom, and what life is like here on campus. If you’re looking for “the basics”—information about our admission process, or scholarships and financial aid—we recommend participating in a virtual Explore Butler admission visit prior to your registered Open House.

We know a virtual tour doesn’t compare to an in-person stroll around our beautiful 300+ acre campus, but it’s an easy way to get a preview of what our grounds look like before you can come visit us in person. We’ve highlighted some of our favorite spots around campus below. Take the full tour at
