Introduction to Intimacy for the Actor

Responsible partnering is integral to the acting world, especially when working with physical touch or intimate moments for the stage. Exploring techniques pioneered by Intimacy Directors International, this workshop will be comprised of two sections: the first focusing on vocabulary, such as the distinction between permission and consent, creating and containing chemistry, and the support of consensual work in the classroom, rehearsal and performance through IDI’s Pillars. The second half will be an exploration of tools utilized to approach basic intimacy practice for the stage. No touch will be required for this workshop.

Please register for the workshop.
