All graduating METL students must complete the METL Graduation Checklist prior to Commencement. This checklist, along with an electronic copy of your thesis must be emailed to Janet Ayers before Commencement.
The Butler Bookstore, located in Atherton Union, stocks Butler mementos, trade books, reference materials, clothing, stationary supplies, gifts, greeting cards, and academic supplies. It also carries all textbooks and music needed for classes (lower level of bookstore). Textbook lists for each course are available in the bookstore and online.
Every registered Butler student must carry a Butler ID card, which are issued Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Parking Permit and ID Office (4702 Sunset Avenue, Suite 500). ID cards have a number of purposes, including the following:
- Check out library books
- Make copies/print documents on campus
- Card-access to buildings and classrooms
- Student discounts
- Food services (load money onto the card via Dining Services)
There is a replacement fee for lost or damaged cards. Stolen cards will be replaced at no charge provided the student files a police report.
All registered students at Butler must have their vehicle registered with the Butler University Police Department (BUPD). Students are expected to observe traffic and parking regulations on campus. Students are permitted to park only in the appropriate, designated commuter student parking areas. Students are not allowed to park on neighborhood streets.
Visit the Parking webpage for more information.
