Effective Teaching & Leadership Program
The Master's in Effective Teaching and Leadership (METL) program is based on the College of Education's core values, and it's designed to offer you flexibility, individual choice, and the chance to be part of a community of learners. Small class sizes and access to caring and committed faculty ensure that you receive an individualized experience alongside fellow educators who share a passion for their craft. Completion of the METL program will prepare you to:
- Continue within your professional setting
- Provide leadership in your school and profession as a whole
- Continue your studies at the doctoral level
Due to current conditions relating to the global pandemic and market demand, we have made the difficult decision to pause the 2020 summer cohort of the METL program. Updates will be made to the program website as they become available. Please circle back in the future for exciting opportunities to engage and grow as an educator. Thank you for your understanding, and stay well!
This pause only applies to METL, therefore if you are interested in pursuing coursework for professional development as a non-degree seeking student, please consider applying for one of the following if it suits your interests:
