The Volunteer Center is located on the first floor of the Atherton Union in AU100 (right behind the bulldog).
The Center is open Monday–Thursday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Friday 10:00 AM to Noon.
The student listserv is a weekly email with a list of upcoming one time and new ongoing projects on campus and in the community. It also highlights nonprofit internships as well as upcoming Volunteer Center events. To sign up email volunteer@butler.edu or stop by the Volunteer Center.
The Volunteer Center puts out applications for the following year’s staff in the spring of each year. The Associate Director of PuLSE and outgoing and incoming Student Directors all participate in the selection of the new staff. All Student Staff members are required to hold 7-9 office hours, attend weekly staff meetings, plan a service project, as well as the individual job responsibilities.
