Interested in Becoming a Tutor?

Do you have what it takes to become a tutor? Speakers Lab tutors:

  • Commit to assisting others with presentation and communication skills
  • Devote to helping the lab grow and better serve the Butler community  
  • Spend 4–6 hours per week tutoring throughout the semester
  • Complete a 1-credit-hour course, ORG 300: Tutoring and Mentoring, during their first semester as a tutor
  • Be sure to take a look at our policies and our code of ethics 

Still interested? Please contact Kate Richards for an application or to inquire about the position. Applications and letters of recommendation are due in mid-March. The interview process occurs in late March and early April, and decision announcements are made by late April.
