Room Change Request

The ability to request a room change is offered at select times during the semester. When the request process is available, a link is posted below in order for residents to submit a request to change. Due to limited availability, not all requests will be granted. Please note, submitting a request to change and/or indicating housing preferences does not constitute any guarantee of hall, apartment, unit, room or roommate assignment. Rooms and roommates are assigned or re-assigned without regard to race, color, religion, creed, national origin, disability, military or veteran status, or sexual orientation. The University reserves the right to make changes in room and roommate assignment at any time.

Fall 2017

Students need to submit the request through a Butler Google Form found here. Typically, room changes are not started until after the 10th day of classes. 

Spring 2018

Any room change requests for a student who wishes to change from a current fall room to a new spring room will need to be completed in advance to allow enough time to process the request prior to semester break. Students need to submit the request through a Butler Google Form found here. If approved, these moves must be completed prior to the student leaving for semester break. If a move is not completed prior to semester break, the move will be cancelled and the student will return to the same room in January. 

Any room change requests for after the spring semester has started need to be submitted through a Butler Google Form found here. Typically, room changes are not started until after the 10th day of classes. 

 

Accessing a Butler Google Form

Please note, if you click the links above, you will be trying to access a Butler Google Form. To do this you must log in with your full Butler email address (including the @butler.edu) and use your Butler password. You will need to log out of any personal Google accounts you may be in on your phone or computer. If you are trying to log into the form with your full Butler email address and password and it is not working, you may need to reset your Butler password at login.butler.edu. If you still cannot access the form, you should contact the IT Help Desk.
