Your academic advising appointment will be held with the College of your primary major. This letter marks the official start of the New Student Registration (NSR) process and outlines your next steps. The timing of receiving your letter depends on when you complete all required steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit your enrollment deposit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete all required placement exams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit verified test scores (if you applied as test-submitting). If you\u2019re test-optional, placement exams are the only additional step after you deposit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use the timeline below to estimate when you\u2019ll receive your welcome email:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All steps completed before April 8 \u2192 Welcome letter sent April 13<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between April 9 \u2013 April 22 \u2192 April 27<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between April 23 \u2013 May 13 \u2192 May 18<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between May 14 \u2013 May 27 \u2192 June 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between May 28 \u2013 June 10 \u2192 June 15<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between June 11 \u2013 June 30 \u2192 July 6<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed between July 1 \u2013 July 15 \u2192 July 20<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completed after July 15 \u2192 Sent within one week of completing all required steps<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Student Registration appointments for incoming fall 2026 students will be offered starting in April and are conducted virtually. See below for a high-level overview of the steps, unique to each college. Your Welcome Letter will have more specific details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"h-placement-exams\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Placement exams<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completing placement exams is a required task for New Student Registration and for enrollment.
