Our team will review your proposal and set up a meeting to discuss potential collaboration. If selected, a second meeting will be scheduled with the course’s professor to clearly define the project, strategic imperative, and discuss the timeline.

1) Kick-off Meeting: Meet with the student team and faculty advisor during the second week of the course to review project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

2) Project Execution: Students will work on your project over a semester, providing regular updates and seeking your feedback.

3) Appropriate executives will participate in four key sessions on the class schedule, including the kick-off meeting and three student presentations at various stages of strategy development.

4) Provide feedback to guide each team at the end of each phase.

5) Students will present their findings at three stages of the semester, culminating in a final presentation with recommendations to your team.

The MBA Program offers a project based class for first semester MBA students. This weeklong class pairs groups of students with a client to research and present a solution to a business problem. The client works with the faculty to present a challenge to the students. The students will form groups and present research based solutions directly to the client.

For this course, students will need access to confidential client enterprise information to conduct rigorous research and analysis, which will ultimately help them achieve their strategic imperative. This includes information that the client will share with the class, including private financial statements, so students may better understand the firm and make specific recommendations. Students and professors will sign an NDA to guarantee that client information will not be shared outside of class. In order for your project to be considered, you must agree to share this information if selected to move forward.

The time commitment varies depending on the project scope but on average is a total of 4 hours per month. This includes attending one zoom session (6:00 – 8:00 PM EST) per month and providing feedback during other weeks.
