DMS Degree Program

The Butler DMS program serves PAs who wish to deepen their medical knowledge, enhance their leadership skills, and build business acumen to advance their career and thrive in healthcare. The six concentrations available in the Butler DMS program include Behavioral and Mental Health, Critical Care, Lifestyle Medicine, Orthopedics, Healthcare Practice and Administration, and PA Educator.

For New PA Graduates

DMS Bridge Program

The DMS Bridge program is uniquely tailored for new PAs who have graduated from an ARC-PA accredited program within the past six months and are interested in expanding their clinical knowledge, developing research skills, and stepping into a leadership role more quickly.

Advance Your Career

The Butler DMS program is designed to enhance your clinical expertise, leadership development, and application of evidence-based medicine. The curriculum is crafted by PAs for PAs and includes a culminating capstone project. The Butler DMS program equips you to expand your impact, take on leadership roles, and pursue new opportunities across clinical, academic, and administrative settings.

The Butler DMS Bridge program empowers new PAs to earn a Doctor of Medical Science degree by integrating 36 credit hours of clinical rotation experiences. By building on your recently completed coursework, the program can be completed in just two semesters. As a Butler DMS student, you’ll deepen your clinical expertise, refine your leadership skills, and position yourself as a highly competitive candidate for future healthcare roles.
