Admission Coordinator Erin Cochard
What are your responsibilities in the PA program?
I coordinate the admission process, which includes application review, interviews, communication with prospective students, and orientation. I also coordinate alumni outreach for the program.
What do you like most about your role?
I enjoy meeting with prospective students to discuss the admission process and the program. I truly love student interaction.
What is your previous work experience?
My professional career has included being a middle school teacher, as well as working in Student Affairs at Hanover College. I most recently worked in undergraduate admission here at Butler University. It was my pleasure to join the Department of PA Studies in July 2015.
How do you spend your time outside of work?
My husband, Chuck, and I have two children, Nora (4) and Will (2). We stay busy with family, friends, and church activities. Our family loves bike rides and checking out different parks around the city.
Erin received a BS in Education from Taylor University and an MS Ed from the University of Louisville. She has been working at Butler since 2009.
