Laurie Pylitt, Butler’s first PA Program Director Retires
Laurie Pylitt, PA-C, MPHE retired from Butler University after 14 years of service in June 2017. Pylitt, working with Professor Emeritus Bruce Clayton, co-authored the proposal that started the Butler PA Program, and she served as its founding Program Director from 1994–1998. Several years later, Pylitt rejoined Butler’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in various roles, including Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Director of Assessment. She now holds the distinction of Associate Professor Emerita. We wish Pylitt well in her retirement and are grateful for her early leadership to the PA Program.
