These opportunities are designed to provide students with hands-on experience and exposure to real-world applications of their studies.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in the program would have access to a variety of options, including drug discovery research at renowned institutions such as Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research and Eli Lilly and Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research (FNLCR):<\/strong>\u00a0As a Federally Funded Research and Development Center, FNLCR offers students the chance to engage in groundbreaking research in drug discovery in cancer. Students can work alongside leading scientists on projects ranging from basic biological research to developing novel therapeutics. This experience deepens their understanding of drug discovery and provides insight into pharmaceutical sciences&#8217; regulatory and clinical aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eli Lilly and Company:<\/strong>\u00a0Known for its innovation in the pharmaceutical industry, Eli Lilly allows students to participate in various stages of drug development. Internships at Eli Lilly involve working in research laboratories, contributing to clinical trials, or formulating new drugs.
