Peace and Conflict Studies Internships

Peace and Conflict Studies students are required to complete six hours of  internships.

Peace and Conflict students have completed internships with these and other organizations in Indianapolis:

  • Borgen Project to abolish poverty
  • Earth Charter Indiana
  • Exodus Refugee Center
  • Indiana Coalition Against Sexual Assault
  • Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic
  • Peace Learning Center
  • Veterans for Peace

Human rights and social justice agencies based in Washington, DC, have also tapped Butler Peace and Conflict Studies students as interns and apprentices, including these organizations:

  • Alaska Wilderness League
  • Amnesty International
  • Attorney General’s Office for the District of Columbia
  • Better World Campaign of the United Nations Foundation
  • Center for American Progress
  • International Center for Religion and Diplomacy
