Cello Day at Butler University

Butler University Cello Day will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Schrott Center for the Arts!  Cello Day is free and open to middle and high school cellists of all levels and will feature William Grubb, cello faculty from Butler University; Adriana Contino, former Professor of Cello at Hochschule fuer Musik in Freiburg, Germany; touring soloist and principal cellist at Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra and Bach Collegium; Lori Horner, active performing cellist and instructor, founder of the Indianapolis Cello School; John Rihanni, Encore Orchestral Strings.

All activities will take place in the Schrott Center for the Arts unless otherwise noted.

10:00 a.m. Check-in/Registration
10:30 a.m. Large cello ensemble warm-up
11:00 a.m. Young Artist's recital
12:15 p.m. Special topics class (TBA)
12:45 p.m. Lunch
1:30 p.m. Master Class
3:00 p.m. Large cello ensemble performance
