Master of Professional Accounting

The Butler Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) degree accelerates and challenges students with real competitive advantage. The program’s 100% placement rate comes from integrating with the Indianapolis and regional accounting industry and on-campus Career Development, giving students ample engagement opportunities with employers. By choosing either the Becker Fast Pass CPA Review Course or receiving graduate credit through study abroad, students are able to customize their own experience.

Two Degree Tracks

There are two degree tracks offered: the accelerated four-year/dual-degree option and the traditional, fifth-year degree option. Both tracks result in a Bachelor of Science in Business (for Butler students) and a Master of Professional Accounting degree, providing you with 150 credit hours required for CPA certification.

Accelerated 4-Year/Dual Degree

The accelerated four-year track has taken the traditional five-year degree and condensed it for students eager to start their career. Graduate in only four years with an undergraduate degree and an MPAcc degree.

Traditional 5-Year Program

The traditional five-year track gives students the option to graduate with four years as a traditional undergraduate by adding only one year of MPAcc classes. Non-Butler students are able to receive the MPAcc degree as well.
