Events Marketing
The purpose of Events Marketing is to develop audiences for specific events or series, to promote ticket sales, and to heighten the awareness of Butler University and its diverse and unique programming to our multiple external audiences (community, alumni, prospective students and parents, etc.). We do this in partnership with departments and offices throughout the University. Prioritization is given to public facing, revenue generating events as well as events that elevate or expand the Butler brand in our community.
Submitting Your Event to the Calendar
The Butler Events Calendar is open to all official Butler programs, departments, and offices as well as the Student Government Association and all SGA-recognized clubs. To submit your event events@butler.edu. Please include the following information:
- Title of Event
- Sponsoring Org
- Open to Campus Only or Open to Public
- Date / Time / Location
- Event Description
- EMS Confirmation Number
- Event Contact Name and Email
The Events Marketing team will review all submissions and will post within 3 business days of submission. If there are questions or concerns, someone from the team will follow up directly. If your group hosts more than 10 events during a year, please contact events@butler.edu for additional information on calendar submission.
PLEASE NOTE: Events can be designated as “campus only” and will live behind a password protected log-in on the web calendar. Only individuals with Butler log-ins will be able to see the events listed.
