From Our Recent Graduates

The Career Development program was arguably one of the most important aspects of my time at Butler. The program and its mentors certainly helped me with not only how I needed to prepare myself for the real world, but also how to truly identify what I wanted to do with my career. From suggesting books to helping prep for final interviews, my mentor was there with me every step of the way and is one of the reasons that I am in the position I am in today. The skills you will learn, opportunities that will be afforded to you, and knowledge you will gain are priceless no matter what career path you choose. I am grateful to have come through the program and to have learned lifelong skills from my mentor.

The career development program at Butler greatly prepared me for my career. It gave me the resources I needed to learn how to interview, network, and communicate with companies while searching for an internship and full time position. The career mentors were by far the greatest resource I feel I was given. These mentors are sincerely invested in your future and assisting you in any way they can. Even years out of college and into my career, I’m still in touch with my mentor. The career center gave me the resources I needed to succeed, it was up to me to take advantage of them. I’m so happy I did!
