My.Butler Support and Information

My.Butler is the system Butler University uses for financial aid, course scheduling, parking registration, and many other campus functions.

Accessing the System

  • From a computer connected to the internet, launch your web browser
  • Go to (do not use www)
  • Log in using your Butler username and password 

Availability of My.Butler

My.Butler is available 24 hours a day Monday through Saturday. On Sundays, the system is available from noon to midnight depending on system maintenance that may be needed.


The login page for My.Butler and the system itself were recently updated with a more modern, intuitive look and feel. The actual functionality of My.Butler has not changed substantially.

Forms Central

Looking for an internal form used across the university by faculty and staff? Use the Forms Central index to quickly locate forms by subject, title, department or category. Any Butler employee connected to the Butler network can access Forms Central.

You can access the Forms Central index by navigating to the network forms area (\\bufiles\general\forms) and clicking on the index.html file inside the forms directory (\\bufiles\general\forms\index.html). Try Forms Central today!

Important note: You must be connected to the Butler network to access Forms Central files by being logged in and physically on campus, or by using BUAnywhere or Work from Anywhere when you're off campus.

For registration policy, registration requirements, and questions such as, "which class should I take?" or "the class I need is full, what should I do?," please contact your academic advisor.
