How Does It Work?
Visit Your Personal Dashboard
Next steps are personalized based on your goals, offering tips on how to get the most out of the network. Recommended connections are calculated based on factors like career goals, academic interests, educational background, and organization memberships.
Configure Your Goals and Areas of Expertise
Select what you need help with and/or the help you’re willing to provide to others.
Use Flexible Search Filters
Find graduates interested in helping you. Filter by criteria like major, employer, job title, city of residence, school affiliation, and volunteer items. For example, students and recent graduates looking to pursue a career in business outside Indiana could search for and find former Finance grads who live in Chicago and are willing to both discuss their career paths and help in the job hunt.
Chat or Schedule Calls with Conversation Templates
Text messages to graduates. Or, utilize the built-in call scheduler. You choose from a configurable list of reasons for reaching out, and the network automatically creates an introductory message template.
Find Members in Communities
Explore shared interests, identities, goals, and geographic locations. Groups include our Career Communities (Entrepreneurship, Non-Profits, Sports and Entertainment, and STEM), Identity Communities (African-American, LGBTQ, Study Abroad), and Destination Communities (Central Indiana, Chicago, Denver, and more).
Check Out Upcoming Events
The CaPS office and members post items of interest to members, including: events related to career development, Alumni Association programming, and happenings in communities around the country.
