Review the list below for resources available to assist with mental health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mental health crisis is any situation in which a person\u2019s behavior puts them at risk of hurting themselves or others and\/or prevents them from being able to care for themselves or function effectively in the community. Many things can lead to a mental health crisis. Below are ways you can respond if you or someone else is experiencing a mental health crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If someone needs immediate medical attention, is threatening immediate self-harm, or has attempted suicide, please call 911 immediately.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-compsych-guidanceresources\">ComPsych GuidanceResources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Butler partnered with ComPsych, a global leader in mental health and well-being programs, to administer our employee assistance program (EAP). ComPsych GuidanceResources provides counseling, expert guidance, and valuable resources for personal and work-life issues. The program is <strong>confidential and available at no charge<\/strong> to employees and all members of their household.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ComPsych clinicians and consultants help employees identify and clarify concerns and develop a plan of action to create solutions that work. If additional assistance is needed, ComPsych will help employees find resources that may be covered by their insurance and meet their financial capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know life is challenging. The 988 Lifeline provides free and confidential support to people in suicidal crisis or mental health related distress 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The U.S. Mental Health America of Indiana (MHAI), Crisis Services Pillar, launched its 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline call center on March 13, 2023. The MHAI 988 program will work with the existing 988 centers and FSSA\/DMHA to provide a phase of crisis continuum, and importantly, someone to call. There are many forms of ecotherapy, including horticultural therapy, animal-assisted therapy, walking meditation, forest bathing, and more. While it is not a solution for advanced mental health challenges on its own, ecotherapy is an accessible practice for mental health protection and overall wellness. It can be as easy as stepping outside and breathing.
