If you have ever worked at the university, you will not be assigned to complete the \u201cNew Employee Onboarding &#8211; Student Workers&#8221; Journey in Oracle again. To access Oracle Employee &amp; Financials, login to <a href=\"https:\/\/my.butler.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my.butler.edu<\/a> and click on the Oracle Employee &amp; Financials Tile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-international-students\">International Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>International Students, before completing the &#8220;&#8221;New Employee Onboarding &#8211; Student Workers&#8221; Journey, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/academic-services\/international\/employment\/\">International Student Services employment webpage<\/a>, download the Employment Authorization Form, and see Bobbie Gibson in Jordan Hall 133.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-1-oracle-new-hire-journey\">Step 1: Oracle New Hire Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On your first day of employment, you will be assigned a \u201cNew Hire Journey\u201d in Oracle. This journey is titled \u201cNew Employee Onboarding \u2013 Student Workers.\u201d In this journey, you will complete a series of steps that allow you to turn in the necessary paperwork to begin working and start getting paid. This journey MUST be completed on your first day of employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-2-new-hire-paperwork\">Step 2: New Hire Paperwork<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>During your \u201cNew Employee Onboarding- Student Workers&#8221; Journey, you will be filling out and signing a series of New Hire Documents. Before you start this part of your journey, be sure to <strong>have your social security number handy<\/strong> and <strong>use your home address<\/strong> on these New Hire documents. The documents you will be signing include Butler\u2019s H.R. Policy Acknowledgement, the Federal IRS W-4 Employee Withholding Certificate, the WH-4 Indiana Withholding Exemption and County Status Certificate, and the I-9 Federal Eligibility Verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-step-3-federal-i9-verification\">Step 3: Federal I9 Verification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You will need to meet in person with either Lorraine Vavul (Student Employment Coordinator) to submit the appropriate form(s) of original ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IRS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You may not begin work until you have successfully submitted the acceptable identification documents described on page 2 of the I-9 form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I.D.s must be original. NO photos, photo copies or scans are acceptable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I.D.s must be unexpired. In addition to page 2 of the I-9, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uscis.gov\/i-9-central\/form-i-9-acceptable-documents\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">read the full list of acceptable ID documents here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The most commonly used I.D.s by Butler students are a passport (\u201cColumn A\u201d on page 2 of the I-9) OR a driver\u2019s license (\u201cColumn B\u201d) and a social security card (\u201cColumn C\u201d) or birth certificate (\u201cColumn C\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Again, documents must be originals. No photos, photo copies or scans are accepted. If your documents are not with you on campus, you must either retrieve them from home or have them shipped to you at your campus address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After you\u2019ve reached the \u201cVerify your I-9 Documents with Talent Acquisition\u201d section of your \u201cNew Employee Onboarding \u2013 Student Workers&#8221; Journey in Oracle, please schedule an appointment with
