This money is available to pay for eligible expenses, such as medical deductibles and copayments, prescriptions, dental expenses, eyeglasses, contact lenses and other health-related expenses that are not reimbursed by your health plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HOW DOES IT WORK?<\/strong> You decide how much to contribute to your Health FSA on a plan year basis, up to the maximum allowable amount. Your annual election will be divided by the number of pay periods and deducted evenly on a pre-tax basis from each paycheck throughout the plan year. You must enroll in the FSA each year. Elections do not carry over year-over-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CLAIM FILING AND REIMBURSEMENT<\/strong> Your FSA administrator is Employee Benefits Corporation (EBC). To be reimbursed for your FSA expense, you must have an itemized receipt. To submit claims for reimbursement, download the EBC mobile app and select \u2018Submit a Claim\u2019 at the bottom of your screen or:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ebcflex.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ebcflex.com<\/a>\u00a0and log in as a participant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Submit a New Claim in the menu and enter your claim information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach the required documentation to your claim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and submit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU CONTRIBUTE TO AN FSA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be sure to fund the account wisely as Health FSAs are subject to a \u201cuse it or lose it\u201d rule; however, you may roll-over up to $680 year-over-year. Any funds above this amount will be forfeited.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You cannot take income tax deductions for expenses you pay with your Health FSA &amp;\/or Dependent Care FSA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You cannot stop or change contributions to your FSA during the year unless you have a change in family status consistent with your change in contributions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>The 2026 Annual Health FSA Maximum Contributions Limit is $3,400.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dependent-care-flexible-spending-account-dfsa\">Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DFSA)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT IS A DEPENDENT CARE FSA?<\/strong> This is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for eligible expenses for dependents under age 13 or to care for a disabled spouse or dependent that allows you\u2014or you and your spouse\u2014to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>DEPENDENT CARE FSA CONTRIBUTION LIMITS<\/strong> Under the Dependent Care FSA, if you are married and file a joint return, or if you file a single or head of household return, the annual IRS limit is $7,500. If you are married and file separate returns, you can each elect $3,750 for the plan year. You and your spouse must be employed, or your spouse must be a full-time student to be eligible to participate in the Dependent Care FSA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CLAIMS REIMBURSEMENT<\/strong> Your FSA administrator is Employee Benefits Corporation (EBC). Receipts should include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Name (who received service)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provider name (provider that delivered service)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Date(s) of service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Type of service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cost of service<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul
