The total tuition for both years will be $101,500. This amount is divided into six payments based on the trimesters and is independent of credit hours. Billed Summer 20% ($10,150), Fall 40% ($20,300), and Spring 40% ($20,300).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Full cost of attendance budgets may be found on the Office of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/admission-aid\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Financial Aid\">Financial Aid Website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For financial aid purposes, federal regulations establish the maximum time frame for completion of the Program, please see the financial aid website for information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On notification of acceptance to the MPAS Program, prospective PA students are required to pay a non-refundable program deposit of $1,000. Students interested in a review should email&nbsp;the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.butler.edu\/admission-aid\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Financial Aid\">Office of Financial Aid<\/a> the location of the rotation and mileage from Butler University to rotation site. Please submit summer rotation information by April 15 of the didactic year and before application for any additional loans to ensure that the increased amount is included.<\/p>\n\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"butler-accordion-item wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-header\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"butler-accordion-title wp-block-butler-accordion-item\">\n\t\t\t<button class=\"butler-accordion-toggle\" aria-expanded=\"false\">\n\t\t\t\tTuition refunds\t\t\t\t<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">Open<\/span>\n\t\t\t<\/button>\n\t\t<\/h2>\n\t<\/div>\n\t<div class=\"butler-accordion-item-content\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n\t\t\n\n<h2 id=\"h-cost-to-retake-a-course\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost to Retake a Course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tuition for the PA Program Classes of 2027 and 2028 is charged as a program-based tuition model rather than on a per-credit-hour basis. Tuition for the full program is&nbsp;<strong>$101,500<\/strong>, billed at&nbsp;<strong>$50,750 per academic year<\/strong>. Each academic year is divided into three trimester payments:&nbsp;<strong>Summer 20%<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Fall 40%<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Spring 40%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For each academic year, tuition is billed as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Term<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Tuition Charge<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Summer<\/td><td>$10,150<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Fall<\/td><td>$20,300<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Spring<\/td><td>$20,300<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although regular program tuition is billed by trimester and is independent of credit hours, the cost to retake a course is calculated using the per-credit-hour value of the trimester in which the course is offered. Payment is due by the published payment deadline. Retaking a course does not guarantee continued progression in the program; students must continue to meet all academic, professional, clinical, and program progression requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Refund Policy for Students Who Do Not Progress to Summer B<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MPAS-1Summer in the Didactic Year is comprised of two separate sections:&nbsp;<strong>Summer A<\/strong>, which includes&nbsp;<strong>10 credit hours<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Summer B<\/strong>, which includes&nbsp;<strong>9 credit hours<\/strong>. Successful completion of all Summer A courses is required in order to progress to Summer B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students who are unable to progress to&nbsp;Summer B of the MPAS-1 Didactic Year&nbsp;will receive a prorated refund for the Summer B portion of tuition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MPAS-1 Summer tuition is billed as a single trimester payment of&nbsp;<strong>$10,150<\/strong>, which covers all MPAS-1 Summer coursework. For refund purposes, the MPAS-1 Summer tuition charge is prorated based on the total number of MPAS-1 Summer credits and the number of Summer B credits for which the student is no longer eligible to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For MPAS-1 Summer, the (2026-27) prorated refund is calculated as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>MPAS-1 Summer tuition \u00f7 total MPAS-1 Summer credits = per-credit MPAS-1 Summer tuition rate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Per-credit MPAS-1 Summer tuition rate \u00d7 Summer B credits = Summer B refund amount<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The calculation is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>$10,150 \u00f7 19 total MPAS-1 Summer credits = $534.21 per credit<\/strong><br><strong>$534.21 \u00d7 9 Summer B credits = $4,807.89 refund<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Accordingly, a student who is unable to progress to&nbsp;<strong>Summer B in the MPAS-1 Didactic Year<\/strong>&nbsp;will be refunded for&nbsp;<strong>nine Summer B credits<\/strong>&nbsp;at the prorated MPAS-1 Summer tuition rate, for an estimated refund of&nbsp;<strong>$4,807.89<\/strong>, subject to final institutional review and any applicable account adjustments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refunds apply only to the Summer B portion of MPAS-1 Summer tuition. Tuition and fees associated with completed coursework, prior coursework, courses already attempted, or future terms are not refundable unless otherwise required by institutional policy or applicable law. Non-attendance alone does not constitute official withdrawal or non-progression.
