Interfraternity Council (IFC) Recruitment

Welcome to the recruitment page for fraternities at Butler University! Your years here at Butler will include many exciting learning experiences, one of which may include becoming a member of a Greek-letter organization. The fraternity community at Butler has enhanced the lives of thousands of students in many different ways. Fraternity life can add many valuable dimensions to your college experience.

Fraternities at Butler can help you become a better-rounded student as they:

  • Encourage you to be active in student organizations and community service

  • Assist you in developing social skills
  • Provide educational awareness regarding social issues
  • Give you a chance to make friends with similar interests

To be eligible to participate in fraternity recruitment, you must have successfully completed 12 hours of college credit and have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.500. There is no rounding up when academic eligibility is confirmed. Also, you may not be on probation with Butler University for any reason. This may include any probation that may be applied at the end of the fall semester.
