It is anticipated that each student will qualify for <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/pell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Pell Grants<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/che\/state-financial-aid\/state-financial-aid-general-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Indiana state aid<\/a>, minimizing out-of-pocket costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founder\u2019s College students are expected to live at home to reduce their living expenses. Demonstrating a high level of financial need through the FAFSA is a prerequisite for admission to Founder\u2019s College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use Butler\u2019s school code when filing: 001788.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for federal student aid, and cannot file the FAFSA. There are, however, some instances in which eligible non-citizens may be eligible for federal government aid. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">studentaid.gov<\/a> for more information.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who are non-federal aid eligible&nbsp;are invited to complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/cssprofile.collegeboard.org\/?navId=gh-css\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CSS Profile Lite<\/a>.&nbsp;The CSS Profile Lite allows students to explore non-federal aid options. Indiana state aid programs, like the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/che\/state-financial-aid\/state-financial-aid-by-program\/frank-obannon-grant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frank O\u2019Bannon Grant<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/che\/state-financial-aid\/state-financial-aid-general-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">21st Century Scholarship<\/a>, are designed to help students with financial need cover tuition and fees at eligible institutions. These programs support our College&#8217;s commitment to making education more affordable for students with limited financial resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founder\u2019s College students are expected to live at home and commute to campus, eliminating room and board expenses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After earning an associate degree, students have the exciting option to pursue their bachelor\u2019s degree at Butler University within the following two years. If they decide to continue at Butler, the estimated costs will be based on the University\u2019s tuition and fees for that year with the understanding that students remain eligible for federal and state funding, along with Butler institutional aid assistance. Butler is dedicated to securing philanthropic support to ease the transition to a bachelor\u2019s degree and reduce costs. Founder&#8217;s College students may have the opportunity to receive the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/understand-aid\/types\/grants\/pell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Federal Pell Grant<\/a><\/strong>: The Pell Grant is&nbsp;the largest federal grant program offered to undergraduates and is designed to assist students from low-income households.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.in.gov\/che\/state-financial-aid\/state-financial-aid-by-program\/frank-obannon-grant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Frank O\u2019Bannon Grant<\/a><\/strong>: The Frank O\u2019Bannon Grant, which includes the Higher Education Award and the Freedom of Choice Award, is Indiana\u2019s primary need-based financial aid program.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/learnmoreindiana.org\/scholars\/enrollment-eligibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">21st Century Scholarship<\/a><\/strong>: Started in 1990, 21st Century Scholars is Indiana\u2019s early college promise program. It offers income-eligible Hoosier students up to four years of paid tuition at an eligible Indiana college or university after they graduate from high school.
