2+2 Academic Programs

Founder’s College offers associate degrees in five distinct content areas:

All five programs are 2+2 programs, meaning the associate degree can be completed in two years and can lead directly to a bachelor’s degree at Butler that can be completed in another two years.

Career coaching and employment support are key components of your academic program. You will take classes focused on career development and may also participate in paid internships to gain valuable workplace experience. Additionally, all programs include experiential learning and opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials.

In addition, all Founder’s College students will participate in Butler Cultural Requirement (BCR) events during their time at Butler. The BCR engages students in valuable and exciting learning opportunities, while encouraging students to develop habits of participation in artistic and cultural events.

Business Data Analytics

Explore coursework and earn industry-leading credentials, preparing you for a lucrative career in fields such as data analytics, business, or computer programming.

Business Management Studies

The Business Management Studies program will equip you with the skills to navigate the complexities of the business world while fostering critical thinking, communication, and ethical decision-making abilities.

Healthcare Studies–Clinical Science

Prepare for a hands-on career in direct patient care with the Healthcare Studies–Clinical Science major. Learn to perform lab techniques, interpret medical data, and understand test results—skills that can lead to roles like an EMT or a leadership role within the Certified Nursing Assistant field.

Healthcare Studies–Medical Coding

Get career-ready for high-demand roles in healthcare—without direct patient care. The coursework you take will prepare you for national exams such as Certified Professional Coder® and/or Certified Professional Biller®, allowing you to earn lucrative industry certifications that will directly prepare you to join the workforce.

Youth and Community Advocacy

If you have an interest working in fields such as education, community building, nonprofit management, or youth coaching, the curriculum and experiential learning opportunities in the Youth and Community Advocacy program will prepare you to help empower the next generation.
