Our Three Promises for Placement Success
We don’t leave outcomes to chance. Founder’s College builds a clear, repeatable pathway from classroom to workplace by helping students understand who they are, what they’re ready for, and how to show up professionally. These three promises are the foundation we use to prepare students — and to help partners hire with confidence.
Promise 1: Know Who They Are
Students complete a CliftonStrengths Assessment and the STRONG Interest Inventory to gain a clear understanding of their strengths and career goals. They arrive at your organization with self-awareness and purpose.
Promise 2: Clarity in Field Competency
Our students are trained and evaluated through coursework in NACE competencies like teamwork, communication, leadership, and critical thinking. You’ll receive a placement report detailing each student’s competencies and assessments.
Promise 3: Skills for Practice
Students gain hands-on experience through career development courses, site visits, and comprehensive workplace preparation. They’re ready to contribute from day one with practical, applicable skills.
The Founder’s College Advantage
Employer partners tell us they want talent that’s prepared, coachable, and ready to contribute from day one. Our model is designed to deliver exactly that. From transparent placement reporting to professional identity development and mission-driven collaboration, Founder’s College makes the partnership easier to engage in — and more impactful for everyone involved.
Detailed Placement Reports
Receive comprehensive information about each young executive, including their degree pathway, CliftonStrengths result, and NACE competency assessments across at least three courses—ensuring the right fit for your organization.
Professional Identity Development
Students bring their passions, talent, and hard work. From the first semester, we connect them with Employer Partners, community partners, individuals, and the Butler network—building the
social capital that makes them stand out from other candidates.
Mission-Driven Collaboration
Our work is stronger when we collaborate with mission-driven employers. Through partnerships, young executives gain access to paid internships, mentorship, and networking opportunities that help turn classroom learning into real-world impact.
Partnership Expectations & Opportunities
Great partnerships are built on clarity and consistency. Whether you’re looking to host interns, speak with students, or help shape career-ready learning experiences, there are multiple ways to plug in. Below are the core expectations and opportunities that make our employer partnerships meaningful, flexible, and aligned with real workforce needs.
Hire Young Executives
Hire 2-4 young executives per
semester at $15-$21 per hour. Money goes directly to students, helping them graduate with little to no debt while gaining valuable workplace experience.
Flexible Scheduling
Minimum 120 hours per semester (approximately 2 days per week, 4 hours per day for 15 weeks). Choose morning blocks (8am-noon) or afternoon blocks (1pm-5pm) based on your organization’s needs.
Guest Speaking & Presentations
Be a guest speaker in one of our classes to share your industry expertise and connect with students before formal internship placements begin.
Site Visits
Bring students to your location to learn about your operations. These shadow days help students understand your industry and determine mutual fit before internships begin.
Know Before You Hire
Get to know your potential intern pipeline through engagement opportunities before students are matched with your organization, ensuring strong partnerships from the start.
Average Investment
Approximately $2,400 per young executive per semester —a modest investment in developing talented individuals who could become long-term employees.
