Verification Instructions

After you have filed your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Butler University’s Office of Financial Aid may request additional documentation to verify the information you submitted. You will be contacted by mail and through the student's Butler email if your family is required to complete this process. Verification is required by the U.S. Department of Education to ensure accuracy in completing the financial aid application. An official offer of financial aid cannot be made until all required documents are submitted to the Butler University Office of Financial Aid.

Other Income Worksheet

If requested by the Office of Financial Aid, please complete this Other Income Worksheet. Please email your scanned documents to the Office of Financial at financialaiddocs@butler.edu.

Intent for Financial Aid (Summer 2015)

Students interested in exploring their loan options for summer may complete the Intent for Financial Aid - Summer 2015 form. ​Submit forms to the Office of Financial Aid in person (Robertson Hall, lower level), by fax (317-940-8250), or email. Summer financial aid notifications will be sent to the student's Butler email address. More information about Financial Aid for Summer School is available here.
